About my practice
I firmly believe that everyone has the potential for change and may simply benefit from guidance and support.
I bring both personal insight and extensive professional training to my therapy practice, having personally benefited from CBT techniques in my own healing journey before pursuing this calling to help others. I earned my Master's in Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Illinois in 2022, followed by my LSW the same year and my LCSW in 2024. My 7 years of combined experience includes 4 years in community mental health and 3 years in social services and emergency unhoused services, where I developed a deep understanding of how trauma, systemic barriers, and life transitions impact mental health. I've received classical training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), while maintaining a strong foundation in person-centered approaches that honor each client's unique strengths and wisdom.
Whether you're located in Chicago, Springfield, Rockford, or rural communities across central, northern, or southern Illinois, you can access high-quality therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own home. My telehealth platform uses HIPAA-compliant video technology that ensures your sessions remain confidential and professional, while eliminating barriers like travel time, transportation challenges, or geographic distance from quality mental health care.
My practice allows us to focus entirely on your goals without insurance limitations, giving you the freedom to progress at your own pace while building the tools and confidence you need to thrive. Whether you're navigating life transitions, managing work-related stress/academic pressure, or seeking personal growth, you'll find a warm, non-judgmental space where real change happens.
